The majority focus is keeping the featured properties current. Whereas content pulled from the MLS/IDX systems remained constantly updated, specialized content for featured properties required manual maintenance. Updates were sent by client or periodic research was done to this end. Testing various domain aliases, widgets and lists from IDX, and various highlighting of properties/areas was required.
What I LearnedThe education I received here was becoming experienced with the MLS & IDX systems which a majority of realtors use to flesh out listings on their Web site. Customizing how the integration takes shape and exploring the various options and features helped cement my working knowledge.
Why Aren't I Still Working There?
At this time, I still do perform some periodic maintenance for various luxury real estate clients for UpTop.
